About the Game
The year? 1800. The locale? Vienna, Austria, the City of Music. 9 years have passed since the death of Mozart, Beethoven has just premiered his first symphony, and you are an aspiring composer looking to be the next maestro to leave your mark in the annals of music history. Will you succeed?
In Motifs, you will be placing your composer, assistants, and apprentice tokens around the city of Vienna, purchasing supplies, gaining inspiration, making acquaintances, and obtaining commissions, pupils, and patronages. When not gallivanting around the city, you will be home writing compositions to be performed and published. The more you perform and publish, the more your prestige and opportunities grow. Are you ready to begin your journey to become the most prestigious composer in all the land?
