The peaceful daily life of a remote village, in which legends about the existence of werewolves still survive, is disrupted when the body of a traveling merchant is discovered the day after the great celebration that has taken place in the town. The victim has been severely beaten, having had entire strands of hair pulled out and shows deep tears to his neck, just as one would expect from a werewolf attack. As if this wasn't alarming enough, two months ago the blacksmith's wife was murdered under identical circumstances.
