About the Game

Neapolitan is a 2-player game played with a normal set of dominoes. Much like how the classic ice cream trio combines three great flavours into one, Neapolitan has you using three adjacent dominoes to form one hand in a battle to control 7 lanes. The twist is that the three dominoes overlap, so a given domino can be contributing to multiple lanes' hands at the same time.

Neapolitan is played with a set of double six dominoes. The doubles are removed and form a line of flags between the players, indicating the seven battles the players are trying to win. The value of the double also changes what the highest rank is for a given battle. On their turn, players play a domino to an empty space on their side, until all 9 spaces on both players' sides are filled. At that point, the strength of their hands is compared and whoever wins more of the seven doubles wins the round.
