Deep within a mysterious forest lies an ancient ruin said to conceal the power of darkness. A band of undead explorers ventures into its depths, determined to recover that power before their rivals. Ghosts, skeletons, mummies, zombies, and vampires must navigate dangerous passages, collect mysterious treasures, and make their way through an ever-changing labyrinth. But only the expedition that gathers the greatest power of darkness will emerge victorious.

Nemuranai Tankentai (The Sleepless Expedition) is a competitive maze exploration and action programming game in which players guide a team of undead adventurers through ancient ruins to collect treasures. Each round, players secretly select movement cards, then reveal them simultaneously to navigate a shared maze, recover treasures, and collect fragments of dark power. Different undead characters have distinct movement abilities, while obstacles, warp spaces, and a roaming golem complicate exploration. Players score points by gathering sets of darkness fragments and applying bonuses from collected treasures, with penalties for unused movement cards. The player with the highest score after the final round wins.
