About the Game
Neo SNL: Tilelized Snakes and Ladders is a game that celebrates the Chinese Spring Festival in 2025, the year of the snake. The game adds a tile-placement mechanism to Snakes and Ladders. During each turn, the player draws and places a tile to complete the gameboard, then rolls a die and plays like traditional snakes and ladders.
Tiles must be placed next to a tile placed, in such a way snake connected to snake, ladder connected to ladder. Edges with gold coins on a tile can connect to either a snake or a ladder. Game strategies will be a decision like "Should I build a snake/ladder or break a snake/ladder? Which will let me go faster than other players".
The game's graphic design combines snakes and cats to create a new image of a "snake." The game uses elements like "big gold nugget" and "Spring Festival Greeting" to generate the icons for extra actions for gameplay.
The player who reaches the end tile first is the winner.
