Nome in Codice – Ucraina è una versione speciale del noto gioco di deduzione e parole Nome in Codice, ideato per facilitare l’apprendimento linguistico e l’inclusione sociale tra rifugiati ucraini e comunità italiane. Le carte presentano testi in italiano e in ucraino con trascrizioni fonetiche, consentendo a giocatori di lingua diversa di partecipare insieme. L’edizione è stata distribuita gratuitamente tramite associazioni, famiglie ospitanti e punti vendita selezionati per supportare l’integrazione e creare spazi di condivisione attraverso il gioco.
Codenames – Ukrainian Edition is a special Italian–Ukrainian bilingual edition of the popular word association party game designed by Vlaada Chvátil. This version was produced by Cranio Creations as a social initiative to support the welcoming and integration of Ukrainian refugees in Italy.
In Codenames, players are divided into two teams. Each team has a Spymaster who knows the identity of their agents on a 5×5 grid of word cards. The Spymasters take turns giving a one-word clue and a number, indicating how many words on the table are related to that clue. Their teammates must then guess the correct words while avoiding the opposing team’s agents and especially the assassin card, which immediately ends the game in a loss.
The team that correctly identifies all of its agents first wins the game.
This Ukrainian edition includes bilingual (Italian and Ukrainian) word cards with phonetic support, allowing players of different languages to play together.
