About the Game
With a steady hand, you will have to fight for the space to build your tiny fungi. Will you succeed and tower above the others, or will you tumble under the pressure?
This is a dexterity game about placing wooden and card pieces to make mushrooms using tweezers; the twist is that the playing area hasn't got Mush-room!
Start by placing a spore to claim your spot, followed by a stem, a frill, a short stem and top with a cap. To win extra points, you can place extra stems to claim the tallest mushroom. Or to claim more space use the larger caps to block your opponents.
Each completed mushroom earns you a coin and an extra action to place a piece. Once all players have taken turns and dare not place another piece, the growing phase ends and the harvest phase begins. Harvest mushrooms by grabbing the whole mushroom with your tweezers and placing it on the playing surface. Each harvested mushroom is worth 1 coin.
After all mushrooms are harvested or knocked over, the game ends. Players count their coins and 3 points per tallest mushroom token. The player with the most coins, wins!
Not Mushroom was created by James Parkes (known for Beaks), with artwork created by Gibsons' talented in-house design team.
