About the Game

The trick-taking game ノーティス (Notice) was originally part of the 2014 Trick Taking Party, and later rule revisions occurred in 2015 and 2018.

The game follows the usual "must follow" trick-taking rules, with a random determination of trump. Players earn points from predicting how many tricks two hands will win. Players are dealt one hand, record in secret how many tricks they expect the hand to win, and then pass that hand to another player. (The specific player the hand is passed to depends upon the round number and player count.) Players then record how many tricks they expect the new hand they've received will win. This second hand is the hand the player will play the round with.

The game occurs over a number of rounds, and players receive points for each trick won and the accuracy of their bids.
