About the Game

A standalone duel game and an expansion for Nucleum.

The year is 1900. A bold new force has emerged in the world of Nucleum energy, driven by visionary French engineers. It all began at the Exposition Universelle, the grand world’s fair in Paris. Celebrating a century of progress and igniting the future, the event became the stage where French engineers unveiled their groundbreaking approach to Nucleum energy. The world watched in awe, but in Germany, the reaction was different. There, engineers recognized a rising rival, one poised to challenge their dominance on home soil.

This game captures the escalating struggle between two industrial powers, France and Germany, as they clash in a high-stakes contest to build, expand, and control the infrastructure of Nucleum energy.

In Nucleum Duel you are an industrialist attempting to navigate the economic and diplomatic turmoil of the early 20th century, centered around the use of Nucleums (what people in another timeline would later call nuclear reactors). Competition between nations is fierce as they race to fuel their Nucleums with uranium and efficiently power their rapidly growing urban and industrial centers.

You will strive to earn Victory Points (VP) by building infrastructure, powering Urban Buildings, securing Contracts, and competing for Milestones, all while seeking the favor of either the German or French side in this struggle of prestige and power.

Includes a 2-player expansion map for 'Nucleum'.
