About the Game

O Canada is a 1-4 player board game depicting the ebb and flow of power relationships in Canada in the 20th and 21st centuries. Each player takes the role of a faction that represents a general political outlook or school of thought in Canadian politics (not a specific political party, though sometimes a party is closely identified with a particular philosophy(,

Using political and social actions and exploiting various events, players build and maneuver force pieces to influence or control the population and the issues of the day or otherwise achieve their Faction's aims. A deck of cards regulates turn order, events, victory checks, and other processes.

This game uses an adaptation of the COIN system used in various games published by GMT Games. The original system is copyright GMT Games and is used by permission.
