About the Game

Ominoes: Hieroglyphs is the second game in the Ominoverse adding to the Best Abstract Game of UK Games Expo 2017 - OMINOES.

Ominoes: Hieroglyphs is a tile laying, tile flipping game where players are racing to complete their temple ahead of everyone else. The temple is made of five parts each of which is bought and activated using blessing tokens. The blessing tokens are gained by placing tiles on the Frieze of Ominotep in groups of four or more. Once a group is formed it earns the active player a blessing of that symbol, plus any bonus blessings from being adjacent to special altars. Once score the tiles of that group flip to the other side and a second scoring may be possible. If a second group scores then those tiles are removed - but without breaking the Frieze.

Place Tiles. Score Blessings. Build Temples.
