About the Game

Operation Iron Fist is the introductory scenario of Board Wargame Magazine #11 Iron Guards: Battle of Shanghai. It is a P&P game with 4 page rule, 1 A4 map, and 26 counters.

Players play the commander of National Revolutionary Army (NRA) 9th Army Group and Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) Shanghai Special Naval Landing Forces respectively. Every hex is 3-4km across and every turn is 7-8 days. Every units represents battalion to division. Players roll a dice to get operation points to activate ground units to fight each other. Player occupied the IJN HQ wins the game after 3 turns.
