Outliars 2025

Outliars is a bluffing party game about personal questions, suspicious answers, and finding the one player who is stretching the truth.

Each round, players answer a personal question with a number, such as “How many times a week do you shower?” or “What would you rate your fashion sense out of 10?” Most players must answer honestly — but one player is secretly chosen to lie.

Everyone displays their answer on the magnetic answerboard, then the interrogation begins. Whose answer sounds too high? Who is being strangely quiet? Who has a story that doesn’t quite add up?

Truth-tellers score by correctly spotting the liar, while the liar scores by fooling as many players as possible.

Unlike bluffing games where you have to invent a whole story from nothing, Outliars is about simply bending a real answer. And because the questions are about your actual lives, players have something to go on: what they know about each other, what they don’t know yet, and what sounds just a little too unbelievable.

With over 250 personal questions, Outliars creates funny debates, surprising reveals, and those “wait… is that actually true?” moments that get everyone talking.
