About the Game
Overloaded Camels game employs a trick-taking mechanic. This game is must-follow. The player with the highest lead color wins the trick (deal). If you cannot follow the suit, you play a different suit (trade good). You can choose face up or face down. Face down cards are all unsuited and have a value of 1. If you haven't won a trick, you can leave the card on the table and stack the cards you'll play in the next trick on top, adding up their values. There are no trump suits, but if the sum of the stacked cards is exactly 10, players of all colors, not just the lead color, participate in the trick's value comparison.
Conversely, cards with a value of 11 or higher cannot participate in the trick, even if they are the lead color. All stacked cards on the table are immediately moved to your discard pile. The same applies if you voluntarily stop stacking; all cards go to the discard pile.
The more trade goods you have loaded, the higher the score you will receive for performing a trick while in that state.
Base Victory Points per Number of Cargoed Goods Acquired 1 good: 1 points,2 goods: 2 points,3 goods: 4 points,4 goods: 6 points,5 goods: 9 points,6 goods: 12 points, 7 goods: 15 points,8 goods: 19 points,9 goods: 23 points,10 goods or over: 27 points
After completing all deals equal to the number of cards in their hand (12 cards) and concluding the deals, each player earns victory points corresponding to the number of successful deals.
