Pairloopa Card Game 2026

Pairloopa, the clever, competitive card game that’s easy to learn and exciting to play.

Here's the challenge: Find 4 complete words using just the 8 cards in your hand.

Each card displays one-half of a compound word. Example: Find a SUN card and a FLOWER card to create 'SUNFLOWER'. It’s a race to find the perfect pairing before someone else does! The first player to lay down 4 correct word pairs wins the round. Now, here's the exciting part, the Out of Turn Trade Rule. Before the next player starts their turn—before they draw a card—any other player may ask that next player to trade for the card that was just discarded.

If you want it, be the first to say:
“Can I trade for that?” Only the first player to ask gets the chance to trade, so be quick!

The player whose turn it is answers yes or no. If they say yes, the asking player takes the face-up card and trades it with one card from their hand to complete the trade and play continues.

If they say no, the trade doesn’t happen and play continues. One important note:
If an out-of-turn trade helps you complete all four word pairs, you must wait until your turn to win the round.
If another player wins before your turn, they win the round, and all other players—including you—add up your points for that round.

Designed for 2 to 8 players, this competitive game takes about 20 to 40 minutes to play and is suitable for ages 7 and up.
