About the Game

PAKT: The Game of Faustian Bargains is a card game for 3 to 6 players, playable in 30-45 minutes. A lighthearted social game contrasted by a serious occult aesthetic.

Each player is a cult leader trying to gather followers. While doing so, you can also claim gifts from higher powers, such as the ability to discard or steal followers, or draw more cards.

If you claim such gifts, you must also commit to a pakt — a secret lose condition that only affects you and doesn't activate until you have claimed enough gifts.

The game then ends in one of two ways:

If any player starts their turn with more followers than any other player, that player wins. If any player fails to uphold one of their pakts' lose conditions, that player loses and everyone else shares a victory.

Pakt is a game where you get the gifts first and pay the price later.
