About the Game

Paragon: Monsters & Mayhem is a fast paced fantasy TCG in which you command monsters and magic to dominate a gridded battlefield and eliminate your opponent's essence to be victorious! With an expansive array of creature cards, spell cards, ritual cards and item cards at your disposal, you'll strategize, adapt, and conquer in this thrilling game of tactics and glory!

In Paragon: Monsters & Mayhem you play as the Paragon of your choice. Players will take turns commanding cards into the different zones of the battlefield in order to reach victory. Winning the game consists of removing your opponents essence. Each time you strike a Player directly with one of your uncontested creatures or a direct damage spell they reveal one essence card and gain power from it. When a player with no essence cards is striked they are knocked out of the game!

Players construct 3 decks each with their own card types. One deck is your main deck which consists of creatures, spells, rituals and items. Your essence deck which consists of essence cards that you choose the order of before play to give you a tactical advantage against your opponent. And your mana deck of 10 to 20 mana cards that you will gain over the course of the match in order to pay for and command cards. The play area consists of the Combat Zone, a 4x4 grid where you command your creatures into in order to attack your opponents creatures or strike directly at your opponent, damaging their essence. The Support Zone, for playing your items and rituals which have longer lasting effects and can change the tide of battle. The Paragon Zone, for your Paragon to start in and use its abilities before advancing into the Combat Zone to join the battle.
