About the Game

Birds are envied by humans and watched since dawn of history. Birding is one of the greatest hobbies in the world. In this game, you are a bird photographer, competing to get the more precious photo collection of Brazilian birds by travelling through all the regions of the Brazil.

Pássaros (Birds) is a light strategy game in which the players, as bird photographers, try to get the best photos of Brazilian birds while traveling in all Brazilian regions.

Pássaros has two game rules included, a basic rules, in that the players travel and take photos in any desired order. In the end, players receive points for the most different types of birds, for each three of a kind photos and also considering the resources they did not spent during the game.

In the advanced rules, players must travel first, and take photos later, also, the birds themselves fly all along the board. All points categories in basic play still counts, but also players get points for having the most photos in each categories.

The game is played in five rounds of three turns each, and during each round, the players are considered to be traveling, and the photos taken are in "unsecure" memory cards, that can be lost. Only at the end of each round the photos are downloaded to a secure server.
