About the Game

Patisserie Cats: Royal Dessert Contest is a light card game for 2–4 players about chef cats competing in a royal dessert contest. Noble cat guests are waiting for delicious treats, and players gather ingredients to bake strawberry, matcha, and chocolate desserts.

On a turn, a player chooses one action: gather ingredient cards, make a Level I dessert, make a Level II cake, or serve a guest. Level I desserts can help players qualify for Level II cakes, while completed desserts may either be kept for end-game reputation or used to fulfill guest orders.

Guests require specific dessert flavors, levels, and quantities. Serving guests can provide larger reputation rewards, but it also removes the desserts used to fulfill those orders. Players must decide when to build up their dessert collection, when to convert ingredients into higher-value cakes, and when to serve guests before opponents claim the best opportunities.

At the end of the game, players score reputation from remaining dessert cards, fulfilled guest cards, and chef cat goals. The player with the most reputation wins.
