About the Game

"Is there anybody willing to undertake a journey this summer from Beijing to Paris by automobile?" Five daring crews with their cars left Peking for Paris on June 10th, 1907, to accomplish this incredible adventure: a 10,000 miles long race over trails and mule tracks, across the mountains of China, the Gobi Desert, and the Russian steppes. Pékin-Paris is a card-driven boardgame for 2-4 players that puts you behind the steering wheel of a vintage car, starting your journey with very limited resources. In this fast deck-building game you will use your resources and coins to get new cards, to communicate by telegraph the progress of the race to the Western press, to improve your vehicle's capabilities and to draw a path to Paris through uncharted territories. The driver with the most VPs at the end of the race will be the winner.
