About the Game

Periodic Pipes is a board game where players travel along a path made up of elements from the periodic table. On each turn, a player rolls two dice and moves the corresponding number of spaces to land on an element. The player then draws a card featuring a property that can be determined from the periodic table. If they correctly identify that property for their element, they stay in place. If not, they must move back to the last noble gas they passed.

Mixed into the deck are Chem Battle cards. When one of these cards is drawn, all players participate in a special challenge. Each player rolls the dice to determine an element: the six-sided die indicates the period (row) and the eight-sided die indicates the group (column). The Chem Battle card specifies a particular elemental property, and the player whose element has the highest value for that property wins the battle and immediately takes an extra turn.

The first player to reach the end of the path (Plutonium) wins the game.
