About the Game

Pet Parade is an enchanting card game where players create their own delightful animal processions. Kids line up adorable creatures and compete to create the most captivating parade!

Game Components:

54 cute animal cards with numbers and letters 1 D10 die

Setup:

Shuffle the animal cards and place down in a draw pile. Deal out five cards to each player, face up.

Game Play:

Any player rolls the D10 die. All players drop sets of cards in front of them as their “pet parade”, based on the following chart. All players replenish their hand to maintain five cards.

Die Roll Action 0,1,2 Drop two or more cards to make a 3- to 5-letter word. 3 Drop two or more cards whose (top left) numbers add up to 3 4 Drop two or more cards whose numbers add up to 4 5-9 Drop two or more cards whose numbers add up to 5-9

Always maintain five cards. Towards the end of the game, deal out an equal number of cards to each player. Continue to roll the die and form parades until no player can drop any more cards.

ENDING THE GAME When no more cards can be played, the game is over - time to score and determine the winner.

SCORING Each card has two numbers: top left and top right with its letter. 1. Add up the total of all the numbers shown on your cards. 2. Deduct the total points of any unplayed cards in your hand. The winner will have the highest score. In case of a tie, the youngest player wins.

STRATEGY Try to drop the cards with the highest letter values early. Keeping these in your hand at the end of the game will count against your score.
