Pikes and Pamphlets is a fast-play tabletop ruleset that recreates battles of the 16th–17th century pike-and-shot era (Italian Wars, Thirty Years’ War, English Civil War).
The system emphasizes simple mechanics, flexible armies, and quick battles that still capture the tactical feel of early-modern warfare.
Armies can be fought with 2-3mm armies on 1-inch square bases or larger scale on 2-inch square bases.
Tabletop can typically be played in a 2'x2' space or larger for even bigger engagements.
