About the Game

Pips is a 2 to 5 players worker placement game, where your goal is to complete collections by gathering resources. To accomplish this, each turn you deploy a number of dice, totaling a limited number of pips onto the available fields on the table.

But some dice will not come back from the fields right away, only after a field has been completed. To get more dice, and to be able to deploy more pips, you use those same resources to unlock extra dice.

On your turn, you roll all your available dice, and then select any combination of them that adds to your current pip limit or less. You then deploy those dice onto the fields to gather resources.

After deploying, you check if any of the fields are completed. For completed fields, the player who has the most pips gets the card, worth points, plus one resource of the type shown at the back.

All the dice that are on field cards that are not completed remain on the table, unavailable to the players.

At any point during your turn, you may complete a collection of those displayed, using resources.

Also at any point, you may unlock new dice with those same resources. This increases your limit of pips for your future turns, as well as additional points.

The winner is the player with the most points from cards, from dice collected and from leftover resources.
