About the Game

Pirate O-Zone takes the dice tossing team play of Classic O-Zone and adds a few twists to make a head-to-head battle for gold on from three islands.

First off, it includes all the components needed to play Classic O-Zone. It also has two 12-sided cannonball dice. Three island targets are printed on back of the regular O-Zone targets.

Most O-Zone editions are found on that game's BGG entry, but this one has enough special rules to warrant its own page.

Over the course of four rounds, teams take turns tossing their five 6-sided dice (ships) toward the islands. Then they fire their cannonball dice.

A team gets up to three tosses of the cannonball dice, as long as they don't foul or go off the table.

After tossing the cannonballs, some ships may be sunk depending on the position and value of the cannonballs. Then islands are scored depending on who has the most dice on or around them.

The team with the most doubloons at the end wins!
