About the Game

An innovative deduction game that uses cooperative image interpretation, set in a surreal occult dreamscape of haunting symbols, elegant darkness, and whispered divination.

You and your allies must determine which of five doorways leads to the only safe exit. The doors are numbered one through five, from left to right, creating the dreamscape.

You will receive one or more secret vessels with a number matching one of the dangerous doorways. By trading vessel information with your allies, you can deduce the safe doorway - the one door that matches no one’s vessel.

However, you cannot speak openly about your vessel. You can only communicate using the mysterious dream images that appear. Each door has a dream both above and below it, and you can send clues about a door by making connections to those images.

Create these connections by using the dreams in the vault, the area to the right of the dream deck, with three rows of five cards. Select dreams from the vault that relate to the dreams around the door you want others to avoid. Only the first two columns of vault dreams will be revealed at first, but each new round reveals another column.

Every clue costs a key! Everyone begins with six keys, one matching each door and an extra Void Key, but loses one each round to share info. Tread carefully; you must hold the key to the safe doorway until the end to open it and escape.

Each round, everyone chooses a key and places it face down under a vault dream. Slide a key under that card, with your colored gem on the dark half still visible. The vault dream chosen should relate to an image above or below a door you know is wrong. Others who interpret that clue correctly can dismiss that door from consideration.

There are four rounds of clues in total. On the third round, place your key with the light half visible. This clue matches the door you believe is safe. This is a one-time opportunity to share your intended escape path, rather than give a warning. After all four rounds, you can examine each placed clue and make your final deduction.

Each person chooses a key in hand that they believe matches the safe doorway and discards all others. Finally, you can expose the safe doorway for all to see, and then everyone reveals their final key. Who has escaped… and who remains trapped in the nightmare?

Once you've tackled the base game, the cooperative campaign mode is still waiting to be explored, offering many new cards and challenges for your group to discover.
