About the Game

Politike: Manage a country, survive the scandals.

Draw cards, uncover the bad news—and make the right decision?

Politike is a card game where you take on the role of a Head of State, tasked with staying in power for as long as possible while navigating absurd crises, improbable scandals, and diplomatic dilemmas.

Please note: this game is 100% digital—a print-and-play edition.

No board, no dice: just cards, decisions, and—above all—heavy consequences for the game's three pillars: your Popularity, Stability, and Democracy points. Lose them, and you lose the game.

A strategic, satirical, and delightfully wicked party game... yet one that is fully sourced. Every card contains a kernel of truth—whether in the situation described or the solutions offered. Can you figure out where I got the idea?

In this game, you draw various cards, each presenting a political problem that you must resolve. Depending on your choices, you will either gain or lose points.

—Is that it? —Yes, that’s it! Your mission: maintain Democracy, Popularity, and Stability... without triggering a war, an economic crisis, or an international scandal. Will you be a visionary strategist, a ruthless opportunist, or simply the one who gets thrown off the train?

Special cards are included to spice up the game; you can choose an initial political context that penalizes your Democracy, Stability, and Popularity (DPS) scores. You can also experiment with different democratic systems through specific mandates (British-style, German-style, etc.), which adds an extra layer of difficulty.

Remember: freedom of speech only wears out when you don't use it.
