About the Game

Step into the role of a wizard competing in the ultimate potion-brewing championship! In Potions Master Tournament, you’ll gather rare ingredients from mystical locations—like the Forest, Beach, Meadow, and Swamp—to craft powerful recipes and outscore your rivals.

Players draw ingredient cards from mystical locations—Forest, Beach, Meadow, and Swamp. Each location has a unique prevalence of ingredients, while the Swamp contains rare ingredients and Forgotten Potions. Ingredients are not all equal; the same ingredient (e.g., an apple) can have different point values, adding an extra layer of strategy to your choices.

—description from the designer

Craft powerful potions by combining the exact number of ingredients specified on Recipe cards. Completing recipes rewards players with special effects and valuable points.

Familiar Abilities: Play Familiars, magical companions with unique abilities, to gain advantages like peeking at cards, disrupting opponents, or securing rare ingredients. To activate their powers, you must “feed” them specific ingredients.

Forgotten Potions: Found in the Swamp, these special cards add a twist. Some act as wild cards, substituting for any ingredient in a recipe. Others, however, are detrimental, subtracting points if left in your hand at the end of the game.

Game End Conditions: The game ends when a player completes three recipes or when any Location deck runs out. Players calculate their scores based on ingredients used in recipes, subtracting points for unused Forgotten Potions.
