About the Game

Protect the Hundred Acre Wood is a cozy, cooperative pick-up-and-deliver game for 1–4 players. Players work together to protect the Wood from a growing storm while completing Friendship Quests along the way. Everyone wins or loses together.

The game takes place over six rounds on a hex-grid map of the Hundred Acre Wood. At the beginning of each round, any player rolls a d6 (the Storm Die) that determines what kind of hazard strikes—Fire, Flood, or a Fallen Tree, and a d20 (the Location Die) determines where it appears on the map.

After the storm strikes, each player takes a turn consisting of three actions, which may be taken in any order: move, gather a resource, resolve a storm hazard

Players must coordinate their movements, collect the resources they need, and work together to clear hazards before the storm overwhelms the Wood.

At the beginning of the game, each player also receives a Friendship Quest. These small adventures can be completed at any point during the game and encourage players to travel, deliver something, or help one another.

If, by the end of the sixth round, every Friendship Quest has been completed and every Storm Hazard has been cleared, everyone wins. If not, everyone loses together.
