About the Game

Pushmajor is an abstract strategy game for two people about pushing 3 of your opponents stones off the board!

The game is played using 9 stones each of two colours on an 8x8 grid. See images for setup.

Goal Push at least three of opponents stones off the board.

Movement: A single stone moves like the king in chess, 1 step in any direction.

A line of stone may move in the direction of the line up to as many spaces are there are stones in the line.

Pushing: A line may push a stone or a line of lower length for the entirety of it's movement, even off the board.

Game feel: The game has a pleasing dynamic of pushing, and then returning to fortify a centre. Because of the swift movement, there is room for daring and surprising play. The game plays very quickly, and one might enjoy a best of three.

Optionally one may start with the pie rule. (One player makes the first move, then the other player chooses color)
