Quant 2023

Quant is a solo game, with a variant to support 2 and 3 players, where the player is attempting to to save various cities around the world from the kaiju that are attacking.

The game takes place across 6 cities, which have various capacity to absorb monster cards. A player has a hand of 5 cards, and each turn will play 1 - with some being mandatory, and some others that can optionally be used before mandatory ones. These cards generally either add monsters or remove monsters.

Monsters in cities will combine based upon their values (e.g. three 10-strength monsters combine into one 30-strength monster), and players receive strength increases for killing monsters at their strength or above. Additionally, if a city ever has more monsters present than there are available slots, it is destroyed.

A player wins if they survive three rounds and loses if 3 or more cities are destroyed.
