Rapids Race 2026

The rocky river ahead has claimed many boats, but this year will be your year! You’re sure of it. But can you guide the boat well enough to reach the rank of Captain?

Each turn a card numbered between 1 and 10 will be revealed. The players have to decide if the next card will be higher or lower. One of the cards is removed each round so there will not be perfect information leading players to push their luck to dodge the rocks. Starting as a lowly swabby you can earn a promotion each time the number of cards in the round has reached 5-8 revealed cards. Players will use their scoring cards to show this turning them a quarter turn with each promotion. If a player can stay in the round until the 9th card is revealed, they will earn two promotions which is a half turn on their scoring card.

Players will find strategic depth figuring out what their vote will be as they are revealed simultaneously. Guess wrong and the player is out for the round!

Do you push your luck to get the promotion on your boat or is it better to hang back and wait to see if your opponents wipe out? Only the luckiest can reach the rank of Captain earning their 4th rank!

To increase the challenge and variability swap in up to 4 effects cards to add more chaos to this addictive game! Players can add in one or more each time to find new and intriguing ways to play!
