Reforest: Aotearoa New Zealand

Reforest: Aotearoa New Zealand continues the Reforest series of strategic forest-growing games.

Forests are grown by playing plant cards into 3 elevation rows, with taller plants being able to cover shorter ones. Each plant features unique a ability, growing requirements, traits and a point value. Forests are compared at the end of each round (when the plant deck is emptied) to see which provides the best habitat for animal visitors. The game ends after 3 rounds and points are tallied from plants and animal visitors.

This is a standalone game, but it remains compatible with the existing Reforest titles.

As a new addition to the series, Aotearoa's diverse plant life introduces the "epiphytes and climbers" plant type which can be played into existing stacks with their effects always remaining revealed.
