About the Game

In Rescue Coco, the beloved neighborhood dog Coco has become the target of a whole street of schemers. Every player is a would-be dognapper, a protector, or a bluffer, all fighting to be the one holding Coco when the dust settles. It's a light, chaotic card game of stealing, blocking, and bluffing.

Each player starts with 5 cards, and on your turn you can play as many cards as you like. Dog Thieves steal Coco from another player, but a Dog Kennel blocks the theft, and an Unlock card can break the kennel open. Petty Thieves (played in pairs) draw a card from another player's hand, while Snoop lets you peek at a hand. Locked Door blocks both. Howl forces whoever holds Coco or the decoy Wolf to bark "Woof Woof!", so you can bluff by giving the thief the Wolf instead of Coco. Dog Whistle sends Coco back into the draw pile. After playing, you may discard, then draw back up to 5 cards.

The game ends once the draw pile runs out and everyone has played one final round. Whoever is holding Coco at that point wins. There is also a sudden-win twist: if a player plays Police right after a Dog Thief steals Coco, and the thief has no Exciter to escape, the Police player wins immediately.
