Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island – Special Weapon Tiles 2022

Part of an add-on (Treasure Chest Promos) during the Robinson Crusoe Collector's edition Gamefound campaign. The promo was also available for backers of the Secret Cabal 2021 Kickstarter campaign.

Special weapon tiles introduce additional usage of your weapons when you hunt for certain animals.

SPECIAL WEAPON TILES:

Someone once told you that there was more than one way to skin a cat… you're beginning to understand the meaning of that phrase. Weapons are not always as straightforward as a knife or a gun-sometimes they're more subtle. If nothing else, this island has at least taught you the importance of innovation.

During Setup, place the Special Weapon tiles Invention side face-up near the Board.

During the Action Phase, you may use a Build Action in order to build a Special Weapon. When you successfully resolve the Build Action, flip the tile and place it on the corresponding space on the board. Once Built, the Special Weapon may be used for every Hunt Action with the indicated animal type.

You may have only 1 Special Weapon Built at a time. If you want to Build a different Special Weapon, you must remove the current Special Weapon tile from the board. Then place the newly Built Special Weapon on the corresponding space on the board.
