About the Game

Rommel in Italy from Ty Bomba supposes Field Marshal Rommel had taken command of German forces in Northern Italy rather than being sent to help with the defense of France against the expected Allied invasion.

A complete game generally takes two to three hours to complete, and it is suitable for solitaire play. Each hex on the map equals 5 miles (8 km) from side to opposite side. Each full turn represents two weeks to two months, depending on the time of year. Every ground unit represents a regiment, brigade or division of about 2,500 to 12,000 men and/or 50 to 350 armored fighting vehicles.

Previously released as Rommel's Last Stand in Bonsai! magazine, issue #11.
