About the Game

Rope Walkers is a joyful dice-rolling pocket game about balance, bravery, and keeping the world together. In this solo-only game, you play as a rope walker attending a festival to celebrate the day the world was split in two by a comet but held together by a single rope.

A play-through lasts 10-20 minutes, and your goal is to reach the other side of the rope tracker without falling. Each turn, you’ll roll two dice then decide how to use them to balance yourself. You can stop rolling whenever you like, or keep at it, pushing your luck to get as close to 14 and 15 as possible without going over.

Any other result will have varying degrees of adverse effects, but 14 and 15 will allow you to advance on the rope, which is needed to win.

Along the way, you’ll need to protect your Stamina, endure Environment effects, tend to Ailments, improve your Mastery, and manage a fleeting deck of Mastery cards that can be used to both replace die rolls and to access abilities.

Rope Walkers is about listening to the moment, choosing when to risk, and knowing when to hold steady. So take a breath, then take a step. The festival gatherers are waiting on the other side to celebrate with you.
