Rose d'Amour 2022

Rose Damour is a worker-placement game themed around managing a rose garden.

Players take on the role of rose garden owners, responsible for developing and maintaining their gardens. To achieve stable management and create an attractive garden, players must carefully use their limited funds to purchase new rose varieties, hire staff, and upgrade facilities in order to expand their garden according to their plans.

A key feature of the game is that the staff disks (wooden worker pieces) used for actions also serve as a resource for paying the maintenance costs of the rose cards in the garden. Increasing the number of actions is important, but neglecting rose care can be costly. On the other hand, focusing only on maintenance will prevent the garden from growing.

Plan cards, which provide significant victory points at the end of the game, also introduce a set-collection element: players must gather roses with various attributes to fulfill their plans. Because of this, the winner often remains uncertain until the final scoring.

And when the game comes to an end, your efforts will be rewarded with a magnificent sight: a garden filled with roses in full bloom.
