About the Game

Rummage - A Game Straight Out Of The Top Drawer!

This game takes place in your own house. The board has several rooms which players mark on their score sheets as actual rooms in the place where you are playing, so the Red room might be your kitchen, the Green room might be your bathroom. Players then roll & move around the board and on entering a room another player draws question cards and letter cards from the relevant decks. So you might be asked "To name something you might see in the sky..." with the letter B. The player keeps answering questions and collecting letter cards if they give proper answers. If they fail, or take too long, their turn ends. You keep no more than 5 letters, so if you get a 6th letter, you return one you don't want.

Players also land on Rummage! squares, and must jump up, grab their letters and sprint off the the relevant room in the house. They then snatch objects from that room which start with the letter and return them to the game. So if you have the letter P and B and on the board are in the living room, you might bring back a piano and a buffalo, or maybe just a pencil and a book if that's what you find.

Other squares get everybody Rummaging, or have players swap their collections and sheets. First to get 5 different objects and reach the back door wins.
