Quiz Iisen ikimaSHOW! Rennai-hen is a standalone love-themed edition of Quiz Iisen ikimaSHOW!, a party game in which the correct answer is determined by the players themselves.
Each round, one player selects and reads a question that must be answered with a number. The questions concern romance, relationships, dating, personal values, and social expectations, and usually have no single objectively correct answer.
All players secretly write their answers on their boards and reveal them simultaneously. The answers are arranged in numerical order, and the answer in the middle becomes the correct answer. The player who submitted the median answer scores 50 points, while the players who submitted the highest and lowest answers each lose 10 points.
When two or more players write the same answer, they add heart symbols to their answer boards. These hearts do not affect the main score, but the player with the most hearts at the end receives the honorary title of the player who understands true love.
Players take turns reading questions. After every player has served as the reader twice, the player with the most points wins.
