About the Game

Schnitzel is a fast-paced card game for 2–8 players where the goal is simple: have the lowest score. Each player has a hand of cards with point values ranging from -5 to 666, all kept face down. The tension builds until someone thinks they have the lowest hand and yells "SCHNITZEL!"; initiating the games ending.

Between rounds, players use special ability cards to swap cards or hands with opponents, peek at hidden cards, attack or manipulate the table in their favour. The Nope card adds a layer of chaos as it can cancel any ability or even a Schnitzel call at the last possible second, turning certain victory into sudden defeat.

What makes Schnitzel distinct is that no one is ever safely ahead. A single card play can flip the entire game right up until the end. The combination of memory, bluffing, timing, and table-reading keeps every player engaged until the final reveal.

Rounds last approximately 8 minutes, making it addictive to play one more. The game is simple enough for a 7-year-old to learn within minutes, yet competitive enough to keep adults playing until midnight.
