About the Game

SCRAP: Post-Apocalyptic Mayhem is inspired by the Mel Gibson 1980s movie, The Road Warrior. Each player plays the role of the survivors inside the compound about the time that Max Rockatansky (Gibson) arrives.

Players try to protect their compound from marauders while refining waste and oil into fuel, recruit more survivors, and scavengw vehicles, parts, and equipment to use in an escape.

Once a player declares their intention to escape, the game changes into a massive free for all race for survival where players work together... or against each other... to fend off the marauders and escape with the most survivors. Scrap is playable in co-op or competitive modes and has a "feel" similar to Galaxy Trucker, with strong post-apocalyptic theme.

One of the big innovations of Scrap is the scrap pile, from which players scavenge parts and weapons and tires, etc.. It is an unorganized pile in the middle of the table. Players may not touch tokens other than the one they choose to scavenge. You may grab some car parts only to discover that it reveals a much better piece beneath it. Dang!!! And all tokens are double-sided, so you may grab some tires only to find a much more valuable item on the other side.

Can you survive and escape!!!
