About the Game

Scrapheap is a cozy pathbuilding game where players take on the role of robots working to escape the Scrapheap by setting their movements, collecting resources, expanding their map, and finally, visiting three unique component tiles on the same turn to assemble their victory.

Each turn three 6-sided dice are rolled for all players to use. Numbers on the dice correspond to the 6 cardinal directions of a hexagon, and all players simultaneously decide for themselves in which order to move in those directions to maximize their resource generation. Then, in turn order, new tiles are purchased from a shared market and added to that player's map to increase their options and production in following turns.

Eventually players generate enough resources to purchase high value component tiles to place in their map. The game ends when at least one player ends each of their three movements on a unique component tile, representing the assembly of a method of escape.
