About the Game

Inspired on the one hit wonder song Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum.

Send Me Up is a cooperative "trick fixing" game meant to simulate giving a eulogy. Players use a deck of playing cards and a die to cooperatively "fix" a trick to produce a specific value.

The game is played over multiple tricks, with each trick having a different target number. If the players can collectively fix six tricks over the course of the game, they have given a touching eulogy and sent the spirit happily to the sky, thus winning the game.

Send Me Up is the postcard game from Button Shy's December 2017 edition of the Board Game of the Month club.
