About the Game

Shadows and Steel is a concept development card game developed by the United States Army War College with the intention of crowd-sourcing force design through player focused competition. Players build a customized military forces and engage rival players, using cards that represent military capabilities, bases, political events, and strategic maneuvers. Currently in Alpha Stage, Shadows and Steel is undergoing active playtesting to refine balance, clarity, and enhance its value as a professional analytical and educational tool.
