About the Game
two 11 x 17 mapsheets, 560 DTP counters. Tactical recreation of the battle of Ponyri, during July 7-10, 1943 at platoon level for tanks and company level for infantry and artillery. Lots of tanks on both side, on the German side, Ferdinand, Brummbar, Pz III, Pz IV, Marders and Sturmgeschutz, on the Russian side T-34, of course, plus KV-1, SU-152, T-60, T-70, and plenty of antitank guns and other artillery in addition to the infantry. Beautiful counters. Tense slugfest over a town located on the Northern salient of Kursk which is astride of the main German efforts
