Sleighs and Desist 2019

It's two weeks to Christmas and Santa's elves are hard at work... but plastic toy manufacturers see Santa's workshops as nothing but missed profits, and Big Plastic has sent its goons out to disrupt or destroy the elves' productivity. Santa's elves must try and get the required toys made before the big day, while Big Plastic has to stop them... any way they can! Luckily, unbeknownst to Big Plastic, Santa has seen this coming and hired on some North Pole Ogres to help protect his elves at work.

Sleighs and Desist is a two-player competitive worker-placement game in which one player - taking the role of Santa's Elves - must place their workers not just to obtain the resources necessary to build a number of toys before Christmas, but also to ensure that wherever the other player - the plastic toy manufacturers' cartel - places their goons, the elves will be able to return home to safety without getting beaten up and intimidated out of the workshop. The elves can be placed anywhere on the map of the elf player's choosing, but the Big Plastic goons are placed by playing cards from that player's hand.
