WHAT THIS EXPANSION ADDS Requires the Smile Life base game.
- Reforms: cards that take effect immediately and change the rules for everyone until the end of the game. - Political careers: join a party, then become mayor, minister, prime minister or President of the Republic. - Taxes and common pot: taxes hit players instantly, and politicians can dip into the pot to buy acquisitions (at the risk of embezzlement). - Events and special cards: elections, strikes, revolution, referendum and protests shake up the game. - Allowances: housing aid, unemployment benefit and more, used like salaries.
