About the Game

Pirámide española (Spanish Pyramid) is a solitaire (patience, rèussite) card game challenges you to clear out a randomly created spread of cards by pairing them.

To play this game you will need a Spanish 48 card deck and a playing surface. Some skill in adding numbers is necessary but only up to 13. Instructions are also given for how to reduce a French/American deck of 52 cards down to the right size.

The game’s name derives from the pyramid shape of the starting spread. Six and 7 make 13.
