About the Game

Stack War(locally known as Jangi Kule) is a high-interaction tile game designed for the lively atmosphere of coffee and tea shops. It reimagines traditional set-collection mechanics into a cutthroat war for resources, playable with custom tiles or a standard Okey/Rummy set. The game is driven by greed and risk management. Players hold a hand of numbered tiles (1-13). On their turn, they must play one tile to perform one of three actions:

Harvest: Match a tile in the central Market to start or grow a stack. Cap: Play a matching tile on their own stack to "bank" the points, securing them permanently. Raid: Match the top tile of an opponent's stack to steal their entire tower of tiles.

The game features unique social mechanics, such as the "Mala" (Sweep) bonus, where players must shout "Mala!" when clearing the table to claim bonus points—if they forget to shout, they lose the bonus. The game ends when the draw pile is exhausted and hands are empty. The player with the highest score (total tiles captured + bonuses for Jokers and Sweeps) wins.
